THE TRAGIC DEATH of 22-year-old Suleman “Susu” Ekalvaya has robbed a St Michael family of a second son in a motorcycle collision.

Ekalvaya died instantly when his motorcycle hit a barrier along the westbound lanes of the Barrow section of the ABC Highway between the Clyde Walcott and Everton Weekes roundabouts around 12:55 a.m. yesterday.

Just 13 years ago his three-year-old brother Habibullah was fatally struck by a motorcycle near Chapman Lane, The City, while crossing the road.

When the WEEKEND NATION arrived at the family’s new residence in George Street, Belleville, yesterday, his father Ayyub Ekalvaya, who sat in the living room amongst other relatives, remembered Suleman as a kind, generous and loving son who always respected his parents.
