A ST LUCY COMMUNITY, shocked by the death of one of its residents, wants police to quickly apprehend the killer.

Corey Greaves, 33, of Harrison’s Tenantry, was shot on Tuesday night just yards away from North Stars Cricket Club in Crab Hill.

He was the second man to die as a result of gun violence in three days.

Family members told the DAILY NATION they were also concerned that police were yet to find the killers of two previous murders in the area, including the shooting of 21-year-old Kamale Llamar Broomes back in 2012.

They charged that in other districts throughout the island, murders were quickly solved, giving family members some type of justice. (RG)
