Cadets keep flag high

MAKING THE STUDENTS feel special is the key to success in the Harrison College cadet corps.

Officer in charge of the corps, Lieutenant Geoffrey Wallace, said there were many distractions, but they had a way to try and keep students interested.

“We try to make [the corps] as diversified as possible. We all work and play together like a family and every person is appreciated for who they are, from leaders right back down. That is one of the things we find about young people, that if we appreciate them and try to bring out the best in them, they generally will stay,” he said. (CA)
