TO HAVE MORE Barbadian students taking courses at its campus is one of the aims of the American University of Barbados.

Today the University held a Health and Tuition Fair at its Lands Down, Silver Sands, Christ Church campus.

Admissions coordinator Rhasheda Skeete said the current enrolment was 135 students, but there were only two Barbadians to every five foreign students.

She said information on the programmes was available at the fair along with financial advice.

The event was aimed at making the residents of the surrounding districts more familiar with the campus as well as bringing in the health services to the students. (LK)
