FIVE YOUNG MALE ENTREPRENEURS have made it through to the finals of the first-ever Billion Dollar Dreams competition, with a Central Bank official lauding the quality and diversity of the entries.

Corporate communications specialist Novalene Brewster said the use of technology in the businesses was particularly impressive.

Finalists Delvin Howell, Ryan Brathwaite, Ryan Belle, Gabriel Abed and Khalil Bryan offer a range of services that include promoting Barbadian culture through comics, exotic meats, engineering and landscaping, location-based solutions and financial technology using bitcoin to revolutionise how currency works.

They will make their final pitches on November 24 to a panel of judges led by Grenadian-born multinational business executive and private equity and venture capital investor, Dr Nicholas Brathwaite. (WILLCOMM)
