Lunch update: Red Force 228-7, replying to Pride’s 300

BRIDGETOWN – Trinidad and Tobago Red Force, replying to Barbados Pride’s first innings total of 300 in 117.3 overs, were 228 for seven off 92 overs at lunch on third day of their second round regional Professional Cricket League first-class match at Kensington Oval here Sunday.

The not out batsmen are wicket-keeper Steven Katwaroo on 62 and captain Rayad Emrit on 10.

Resuming from 153 for five overnight, the Red Force lost the wickets of Yannick Ottley (45) and Imran Khan (8) to Kevin Stoute and Miguel Cummins respectively.

Stoute has been the most successful bowler so far for the Barbados Pride with three for 41 in 18 overs while Cummins has two for 59. Both fast bowler Kemar Roach and left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican have one wicket each for 38 runs. (EZS)
