A ST JOSEPH woman fears that her home and life’s work may soon be washed away after a waterway was constructed near her home.

Sheral Gill (below) said a tunnel built directly in front of her Ginger Works, Branchbury No. 2 home, streams water which settles in a well in front of her home. When the well is filled, the water floods her home, she complained.

“All the water that gushing off the front road comes through the tunnel and flood way the whole place. Every time the rain falls, this is the routine. We got to be sweeping the water and this ain’t good enough. If it continues like this, it will end up sinking my house,” she said.

Gill explained that the tunnel was constructed while the house was unoccupied. sheral-gill (TSG)
