BARBADOS IS NOT YET out of the woods economically, but Prime Minister Freundel Stuart says that the island is on its way back to a level of prosperity.
He also said his Government was a united entity and it was presiding over the affairs of state with humility and courage.
Stuart was responding to a question from the SATURDAY SUN on the sidelines of his party’s 60th anniversary church service recently about how he would sum up his “stewardship” since taking up the reins of office.
Saying that he was not the one to assess his stewardship, “but . . . I would say that we have not done very badly because we had to keep the national situation stable and we have done that”. (JS)
