Island’s hidden treasures being uncovered

It is time to walk the walk when it comes to entrepreneurship.

Dr Kerry Hall, chief executive officer (CEO) of the Barbados Tourism Product Association (BPTA), in an interview with the SUNDAY SUN said there are a lot of talented and creative people in Barbados, but the problem was that the system had not facilitated entrepreneurship.

With last month’s launch of the BTPA’s Island Treasures Initiative, which is a comprehensive inventory of the “hidden treasures” of Barbados, specifically products, services and attractions on the island, Hall said that it was now possible to really support the creativity of the island and boost the economy.
