Chinese spread joy with culture

THE LANGUAGE BARRIER between Barbadians and the Chinese was not enough to hinder the children from the Nightengale Complex from enjoying cultural displays put on by the Asian visitors.

About 40 children from the cottages at the Black Rock, St Michael facility seemed delighted by the visit from personnel of the Chinese hospital ship Ark Peace on Sunday.

Commander and director of the Health Care Unit on the ship, Wang Zhi Hui, described the interaction as “very good”. (TC)
