THE TRANSPORT AUTHORITY Service Integration (TASI) pilot project got off to a mostly successful start yesterday.
While the Edey Village, Christ Church route featured privately-owned public service vehicles (PSV) picking up passengers at the Fairchild Street Terminal in The City, authority director Alex Linton said there was still a challenge along the Sturges, St Thomas route.
“We have had challenges with some minibuses that are not part of the TASI project still on the route. We already spoke to a few of them and they will all be reassigned to other routes and replaced with those who have been approved,” he said.
In Sturges, Stacia Thorne was waiting with her son Ju’Neil for a bus to take him to Holy Innocents Primary School. She said getting to destinations on mornings in a timely fashion could be a tricky proposition. (CA)
