SAMUEL EASTMOND stood out like a beacon on his way to capturing the Michael Riley Invitational Bodybuilding Classic on Sunday night.
Performing before a sizeable crowd in the St Leonard’s auditorium, the lightweight turned back a competitive field by showcasing “a full package”.
He added seven pounds that gave him more fullness and it complemented his regular strong points like his thighs, hamstrings and calves.
Eastmond said he felt proud to lift the title after fighting off injury.
“After coming back from injuries in Antigua and the Darcy Beckles Classic, placing second in both of them, this is a good thing going here [as it’s the] first time I hit first place since 2013 when I won the lightweight division at the Central American and Caribbean Championships,” said Eastmond.
