MEMBERS OF THE BARBADOS Secondary Teachers Union are currently in discussion with president Mary Redman and the executive at Solidarity House.
The teachers were summoned to a meeting to discuss the marking of School Based Assessments and the introduction of Caribbean Vocational Qualifications.
Redman addressed the gathering before discussions got underway.
The contention is that the terms and conditions of employment are changing with out consultation with the union. (MB)
