A VISITOR had to seek medical treatment yesterday when a jet ski he was riding collided with another at Browne’s Beach.

The man, a 62-year-old German national, reportedly suffered broken ribs. He was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and was being treated there up to press time for serious but non life-threatening injuries.

Operator of one of the jet skis involved in the accident, Ian Alleyne, said he was ashore when another visitor came back to land on a jet ski and told him that someone was out in the water and then left.

“The man just came back to shore with the jet ski and told me that the man out there floating in the water and I went out and found him with the catamaran people,” Alleyne said.
