Estwick pushing for solutions

BARBADIANS STRUGGLING WITH WATER scarcity issues in rural parishes may not have been hearing from Dr David Estwick, but the usually outspoken Minister of Water Resources says he’s been feeling it too.

“Believe me, I feel the pain of each and every householder who cannot get water,” said Estwick.

“But I am focused on getting lasting solutions, not just talking and talking.”

In his first public comments since water outages struck parts of St Peter, St Andrew, St Joseph, St George and St Thomas just before Christmas, Estwick said he had heard the cries of Barbadians and had been pushing the technocrats at the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) to find effective solutions.
