Four taken to QEH after accident

FOUR PEOPLE WERE TAKEN to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital following a two-vehicle accident at Black Rock Main Road, St Michael, this morning.

Michael Rogers, 32, of Eden, Lodge St Michael, driver of a motor car, and three passengers travelling in a Transport Board bus had to seek medical attention.

Police are continuing investigations into the accident that saw Rogers extricated from his car by Barbados Fire Service personnel after it was extensively damaged.

According to reports, the bus was driven by Levere Collymore and carried 16 passengers.

The incident took place around 6:40 a.m.

The Transport Bus was also severely damaged at the right front side. (JS)

Michael Rogers had to be freed from this car by the Barbados Fire Service.
