CORPORATE BARBADOS IS joining in th fight against the Zika virus. Massy Distribution Ltd yesterday donated 40 In2care mosquito traps to the Ministry of Health at its offices at the Humphrey Walcott Building at Culloden Road, St Michael.

Desmond King, acting chief environmental health officer, pointed out that the traps would go a long way in helping to eradicate the virus.

“The donated traps would be placed at the airport, seaport, Geriatric Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital and any other place with a lot of human activity. It is one of the strategies we will use to go after the elimination of the aedes aegypti mosquito,” he said.
