Police dog sniffs out million dollars in cocaine

A MAN IS EXPECTED to appear in court Tuesday charged with more than $1 million in cocaine.

Kelvin Ricardo Callender, 45 years, of Wildey Terrace, St Michael has been charged with possession, possession with intent to supply and trafficking of cocaine and cannabis.

According to a police release, a search warrant was executed at Callender’s residence on Sunday. A police dog led officers under the cellar of the house where the cocaine was hidden.

The value is $1 045 000.00.

A search was also conducted of his car and 183 grams of cannabis were discovered hidden inside.

Callender is scheduled to appear at the District A Magistrates Court. (PR/SAT)
