THERE’S A NEW political party in Barbados. And it wants to make a big splash by engaging the country’s leading business people.
SolutionsBarbados was founded last July, and if all goes well, the virgin party plans to provide a full slate of candidates in the next general election, constitutionally due in 2018.
What they want now is for prominent business people like Ralph “Bizzy” Williams to join up and make themselves available to the country so more entrepreneurs could follow in his footsteps.
“We plan to run candidates in all 30 constituencies to give the Barbadian society a competent alternative government,” the party’s founder, Grenville Phillips II, told the DAILY NATION yesterday.
