Driver saves drowning three

ADRIAN “DRUMMER” BRATHWAITE considers himself just an ordinary taxi driver.

Almost every day he goes to work to make a dollar and a difference in the lives of the people he takes around the island, just like any other civic-minded tourism operative.

However, on Monday Brathwaite, of Marley Vale, St Philip, went above and beyond his duty when he dived into the waters along the West Coast to save the lives of three visitors.

The humble man spoke to the WEEKEND NATION yesterday in between tours from the Bridgetown Port.
