Madoos betting on Dorsett for Gold Cup

STEVE and Allan Madoo have been established in Trinidad and Tobago horse racing for years.

During the middle of 2014, the father and son team opted to spread their wings investing in Barbados’ racing by having a small string of horses stationed at the Garrison.

It didn’t take them long to land their first win with Run For Your Money, after which the duo’s colours also won their next three races.

As if those successes worked as a sweetener, the Madoos have stepped up their participation in local racing by purchasing and importing the bay horse Dorsett to compete in the XXXV Sandy Lane Barbados Gold Cup over 1 800 metres at the Garrison Savannah on Saturday.
