IT’S KITE FLYING time again and for many children, especially boys, it is time to once more experience the thrill.

For nine-year-old Jamarco Shepherd of Sion Hill, St James, that thrill came early as his mother surprised him with a kite on Monday.

Jamarco wasted no time in getting in some practice and was spotted while outside testing the wind with his new kite.

It was not all smooth sailing, though, as Jamarco sometimes had to struggle to keep the kite from tangling in his house, but in the end the elated boy was satisfied he was in kite flying shape again. (CA)
