RESIDENTS in Upper Bakers, St Peter, want to know why their water has been discoloured for the past two months.
About 19 people from four households said rust-coloured water had been coming out of their taps, and they pointed fingers at the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) for failing to respond to their concerns.
Patrick Benn, 53, whose household consists of four people, said the discolouration started last January 3. He said since then he had reached out to the BWA but without any success.
The residents lamented that they have had to use water from neighbours, or purchase bottled water, to meet their daily basic needs, despite all being connected to the same mains.
