Man suffers electrical shock

A MAN WAS rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital before noon today after suffering an apparent electrical shock.

Reports indicate that the man known just as “Ivor” was picking breadfruit in Farm Tenantry, St Peter when there was a loud explosion and he fell to the ground shortly afterwards.

People in the gap said smoke was coming from a transformer on the electrical wires, which ran close to the branches of the breadfruit tree. (YB)
