A FAMILIAR WALK HOME through a dark and lonely footpath in Government Hill, St Michael, turned deadly for Dwayne Jason Omar Gooding late Saturday night.
The 32-year-old, of My Lord’s Hill, St Michael, was returning home after spending the afternoon at White’s Shop in Martinique Road, Government Hill; a ten-minute walk away.
His mother Gale Gooding said she visited the shop where he hung out minutes before speaking with the media, and everyone was in shock over the news that he died from head and other wounds.
“He is not the type of person who used to get in anything with anybody. He was very quiet, and would just go to work at Rotherley Construction, come home, lime by the shop and come back home,” she said.
