Woman in critical condition after being shot in head

POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING a shooting incident which occurred sometime around 8:40 p.m. yesterday in the area of Barbarees Hill, St Michael.

A 57-year-old St George woman received a gunshot injury to her head while travelling as a passenger in a vehicle. 

She was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and is reported to be in a critical condition. (PR/NB)
