GOLD CUP winner Dorsett headlines the second day of the Barbados Turf Club’s second season – the BTBA Stakes and Trophy Raceday at the Garrison Savannah, today.

He will meet five other opponents in the Aston Martin Handicap, the supporting feature on the eight-race card that starts at 2 p.m.

Two races before the Gold Cup winner graces the track at 4:05 p.m., racing enthusiasts will witness six creoles competing in the feature race, the Republic Bank Breeders’ Stakes And Trophy, a Grade II event over 1 800 metres.

Northern Star, a major disappointment when finishing one from last in the first jewel of the Triple Crown – the Barbados Guineas – seeks revenge.
