POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING the circumstances surrounding the unnatural death of 63-year-old Reynold Ricardo Jemmott and the origin of a fire to his house in which he resided alone.
Police and fire officers responded to a report of a house fire at Wavell Gardens, Black Rock, St Michael around 2:30 this morning.
On arrival they were notified that someone may be inside the house and firemen found Jemmott’s body and brought him out. Police say he showed no signs of life. The fire was extinguished but the house was extensively damaged.
A post mortem is to be performed to determine the cause of death. (PR/NB)
