Mail-order prescriptions

PRESCRIPTION DRUGS by post.

This is the newest service being offered by the Barbados Postal Service as it adapts to the changing mail and packet environment on the island.

This was revealed yesterday by deputy postmaster general for international postal affairs and business development, Margaret Ashby. She was speaking as the Christ Church Independence Committee launched its community project at a church service at the Kingdom Life Assembly Church, Inch Marlow.

Addressing the congregation, Ashby said the new service came about because postal officials recognised there was a need for the service as people might not have time to wait in a line at a pharmacy. (HLE)
