ENGLAND’S BARBADIAN ALLROUNDER Chris Jordan was on fire for English county Sussex in the Royal London Cup yesterday.

In a match reduced to 32-overs-a-side, Jordan grabbed five wickets for 28 runs from 6.4 overs to help Sussex to a 31-run victory over Middlesex at Hove.

Bowling with impressive pace and firing in his toe-crushing yorkers seemingly at will, Jordan snatched two early wickets before coming back to capture the last three, as Middlesex, chasing 223 to win, were dismissed for 191.
