THE BARBADOS EMBASSY at Wyoming Avenue, Washington D.C, was transformed into everything Barbadiana when the Robinson Smiles and Hope Foundation staged its annual White Party charity event two weeks ago.
Barbadians from throughout the United States, as well as some who travelled from Barbados, descended on the red brick building on June 11 to lend support to the Robinson family, who have been making significant contributions to children in particular as well as families and institutions in Barbados and the United States for a decade.
A red carpet was laid out for guests who were greeted by beautiful decorations in Barbados’ national colours of gold, black and blue. (MB)
