THE IN FORM Zane Maloney will be among the fancied drivers when the Barbados Karting Association’s (BKA) Suzuki Caribbean/Williams Equipment Race Day number six of the SDRR Motorsport Championship is settled under lights at Bushy Park on Saturday.
The other fancied drivers are defending champion Nick Gill, former karting champion Christian Hinds, Charlie Kerridge in the EasyKart 60cc Class, Alex Powell and Kyffin Simpson.
Entered in the EasyKart 100cc Class, Maloney, himself a former BKA champion driver who has been campaigning in the United States for the past ten months, grabbed second place in the United States Pro Kart Series (USPKS) three weeks ago.
His connections said the result was what they had hoped for but better than they had expected. (TT)
