POPULAR CALYPSONIAN Terencia Coward is thanking her lucky stars today, after being involved in a vehicular accident a few minutes before performing at Friday’s night’s semi-finals of the Party Monarch and Sweet Soca competitions.

Coward, known as TC in music circles, was able to put her pain in check to hit the notes on stage, and still reach the finals of the Party Monarch contest after a solid performance at Kensington Oval.

The accident occurred near the traffic lights at Culloden Road, St Michael, around 9:30 p.m. while Coward was en route to the Oval. She was in the car with a friend and her manager Sonia Mullins.

Coward went on social media yesterday giving thanks that neither she nor her friends in the car were seriously hurt. (BA)
