THE SALVATION ARMY is dedicated to ensuring that those who benefit from its programmes are actually in need.
This is according to Divisional Commander Major Sinous Theodore who said persons who appeared at their doors for help were screened.
He said a few who were not needy may benefit but the majority of cases were genuine.
Theodore was speaking today at the Salvation Army’s Reed Street, St Michael location where more than 80 people in need were fed.
He appealed to corporate Barbados and average citizens to help the Army carry out its activities. (TG)
