MEMBERS OF THE Drug Squad have charged 71-year-old Barbadian-born Canadian resident Erwin Algeron Moseley with four cannabis-related offences.

Police say a piece of luggage arrived on a flight from Canada on July 4 and was searched by Customs. It was found to contain packages of cannabis weighing 14.5 pounds hidden in false compartments.

The owner of the bag had arrived from Canada the previous day without the luggage.

Moseley returned to the airport on July 4 and was detained in relation to the investigation.

He is expected to appear in court today charged with possession of cannabis, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation. (PR/NB)
