WORKERS AT THE Barbados Water Authority (BWA) are getting restless again over the non-payment of millions of dollars in increments owed to them by Government.
A spokesman for the workers told the SUNDAY SUN that Government had not honoured an agreement to have the $16 974 519 owed paid to them over a six-month period starting from May.
According to correspondence which was sent to Minister of Agriculture and Water Resource Management Dr David Estwick from Minister of Finance Chris Sinckler, a proposal was made to pay the workers equal instalments of $2 829 086 every month until the conclusion.
