Man seriously injured in Storey Gap incident

POLICE ARE CONDUCTING an investigation into the serious wounding of 51-year-old Delroy Scarlett of Storey Gap, Codrington, St Michael.

About 5:40 this evening, Scarlett was involved in an altercation with another man in the district. 

Scarlett’s right hand was severed above the wrist and his left leg was partially severed below the knee by what is believed to be a cutlass.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance. A man is currently assisting with investigations. (PR/NB)
