Man charged in Storey Gap wounding incident

A MAN IS expected to appear in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court today in connection with the wounding of 51-year-old Delroy Scarlett.

Police have charged 39-year-old Elton Dacosta Watson of Lewis Gap, Green Hill, St Michael with the offence of serious bodily harm.

Scarlet was involved in an altercation with another man on Monday in his Storey Gap, Codrington, St Michael district.

His right hand was severed above the wrist and his left leg was partially severed below the knee by what is believed to be a cutlass. (PR/NB)
