THE RAIZMAN BROTHERS’ colt Infrared is the front-runner in today’s feature race, the Season of Emancipation Handicap over 1 570 metres, at the Garrison Savannah.
Infrared, trained by Richard Deane, has been winning the hearts of racing enthusiasts with some spectacular performances in his continued upward climb on the rating ladder.
He looks set to contest this race on the Season Of Emancipation Raceday, which is the Barbados Turf Club’s sixth day of the second season. The eight-race programme starts at 1:45 p.m.
The 4:50 p.m. feature won’t be a one-horse affair, though, as the other five runners have been showing consistently good form.
Among them are Snow Storm, who handed Infrared his last defeat, and Wheyshe Went, a winner of two of her last three starts.
