THE BRONZE BOY IS BACK.

Mario Burke, Barbados’ lone medallist at the World Under-20 track and field championships in Poland, returned home yesterday beaming with pride.

The 19-year-old sprinter, who won bronze in the 100 metres, was met at the Grantley Adams International Airport by a small group of well-wishers that included his parents Vincent and Marvo Burke and officials of the Athletics Association of Barbados. (BN)
