A 21-YEAR-OLD MAN wanted for allegedly shooting a police detective almost three weeks ago, was shot and killed by police yesterday.

A “wanted” bulletin was issued for Lashley on July 19, ten days after the shooting of Constable Shane Newton while he and other policemen were carrying out an operation at Melrose, St Thomas.

“They killed my nephew!” were among the few words of Lashley’s aunt who refused to give her name yesterday, as the family declined to comment when the news team visited their Melrose home. (TSG)
