STAY AWAY FROM the East Coast on Tuesday if you are not in the band.
That was the message from the organisers of Day Two, a major Kadooment-like jump-up featuring about 1 000 revellers, who will hit the streets on the picturesque St Andrew coast to celebrate the second successive public holiday celebrating Emancipation Day.
DM Celebrations, which has organised the event, has stressed the celebration is a masqueraders-only spectacle and not one for public viewing.
Managing director of the entertainment company, Ryan Moseley, said restricting on the general public to viewing of the revellers parading was not their original intention.
Because of a Whatsapp message suggesting there were plans to disrupt the annual Foreday Morning Jam, they were advised to take the precaution. (TSG)
