SOME OF TIMOTHY INNISS’ closest friends do not believe enough was done to save his life.
Inniss, 21, of Ruby Plantation, St Philip, is believed to have drowned after falling overboard the party boat MV Harbour Master around 9 p.m. on Sunday. However, despite search efforts by the Coast Guard, his body had not been found up to press time.
According to a release from police public relations officer Acting Assistant Superintendent David Welch, police are investigating Inniss’ disappearance.
He said Inniss was a patron attending a cruise called Tipsea when he apparently fell overboard, about 100 metres offshore of the Signal Station of the Bridgetown Port. The Police Marine Unit and the Barbados Coast Guard conducted their searches until 6 a.m. yesterday without success. (RB)
