THERE ARE NINE Barbados Scholars and 18 Exhibition winners this year.
This is a drop from last year when the Government of Barbados awarded 27 Scholarships and 25 Exhibitions to students who excelled in the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examinations and the Associate Degree programme of the Barbados Community College (BCC).
This year Harrison College produced seven scholars and seven exhibition winners while two Queen’s College students received scholarships and six received exhibitions.
The St Michael School and Barbados Community College can boast of two Exhibition winners each while Foundation produced one.
The results were announced this afternoon at the Ministry of Education by Minister of Education Ronald Jones.

Queen’s College: Caroline Haynes and Shermona Rodney
Exhibitions
Harrison College: Nikolai Burton, Jordan Forde, Danielle Grazette, Reggio Lorde, Jovan Medford, Deborah Rowe and Jared Spencer.
Queen’s College: Eshe Blackett, Maia Drakes, Ashley Gibson, Kayla James, Anil Karnani and Subhang Nanduri.
Christ Church Foundation: Aisha Trimmingham
St Michael School: Kianer Chewitt and Kali Grant
Barbados Community College: Tracey Brathwaite and Danielle White
