SCOTIABANK IS CELEBRATING 60 years in Barbados and the branch at Haggatt Hall is recording two decades of operations at the Sky Mall location.

Yesterday the management and staff at that branch rewarded some of its first customers and previous managers who led the operations during that period.  Barbados’ lone living national hero the legendary Sir Garfield Sobers and Governor of the Central Bank, Dr Delisle Worrell and his wife, Monica, were also rewarded for their loyalty to the branch.

While Sir Garry presented one of his autographed bats to the bank’s first customers Cynthia Vaughan, Central Bank Governor spun the gift wheel. (KB)
