THERE WAS a time when the children were taken home from the party at sundown to make way for “the big people”.
But it was “de big people” who were out in broad daylight feting as the sun crept towards the horizon recently.
Popular party animals from another generation took over the dance floor at Sweetfield Manor for “de big people party” organised for the second year running by Jerry Ishmael and Faye Wharton Parris of Premier Events Services, and they had a blast.
Kay and Keith Robertson, Dawn Dujon, Marcia Martindale, Dr Jeannine Comma, the Whartons: Dr Michael Wharton and his sister Laura-Lyn; the Ishmaels: Gayle Ishmael and her cousin Dr Richard Ishmael, his sister-in-law Deidre, Averil Byer and Elvin Sealy – were all spotted among those partying to the music of DJ Alvin Soca Superman Toppin.
