THREE YOUNG MEN ended up in the same “boat” in more ways than one yesterday when they sailed their way into the District “A” Magistrates’ Court straight from the dock of the Shallow Draught of the Bridgetown Port.

They were about to board the pleasure boat Jolly Roger for the 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. party cruise when they were stopped in the security area.

Enrico Michael Hinkson, 27, of Middleton, St George; Shakier Shabrie Hall, 24, of Reed Street, and Anderson Renaldo Walkes, 25, of 3rd Avenue, Gills Gap, Eagle Hall, both in St Michael, all appeared in court individually charged with having cannabis on August 31.

They all pleaded guilty before Acting Chief Magistrate Douglas Frederick and were each sentenced to 200 hours of community service. The three will return on November 25. (TKS)
