WITH BURNS over 90 per cent of his body and a ten per cent chance of surviving, a dying Jamar Scott asked his twin brother to take care of his seven-year-old son.

Scott was badly burnt on August 25 when, according to reports, the maintenance worker was using a power washer that caught fire at Purity Bakeries, one day before his scheduled vacation.

But after being warded at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for nine days, he succumbed to his injuries yesterday. He was 30.

When a DAILY NATION team visited Scott’s Lot 34 Lead Vale, Christ Church residence, family members recounted their lasting memories of the man many called Barry.
