A THREE-WICKET burst from off-spinner Jamar Willoughby triggered a terminal collapse by two-time defending champions IDL Walkers Sand Quarry Isolation Cavaliers yesterday to spur Psychiatric Hospital into the final of the Barbados Cricket Association’s Shield competition.

Invited to bat, the Cavaliers crumbled in 32 overs for a paltry 91. That was reduced when they conceded a five-run penalty due to the last-wicket pair continuing to run on the pitch after a previous warning from umpires Philmore Collymore and Antonio Mayers.

Psychiatric Hospital adopted an ultra-cautious approach to the modest target, losing six wickets and occupying 30 overs to reach 87 for six to ensure a place in the final for the third time in their history.
