THE SMALL BUSINESS ASSOCIATION (SBA) has launched its week of activities with eyes on accessing the $50 million special fund promised by Government, and the results of a survey on the sector’s contribution to the economy.

Speaking following a church service at the Power in the Blood Assembly, Tudor Bridge, St Michael yesterday to launch their week of activities under the theme Pride And Industry, Celebrating 50, president Dalton Medford said both issues were critically important.

He said while the association had not received official word on when the funds earmarked for grants and soft loans to the sector would become available, they would be holding the Government to its promise.

Medford said he also intended to share his views on how the fund should be utilised when the SBA holds its awards ceremony and reception on Saturday. (WILLCOMM)
